The story

We framed the commission as a commercial problem before a design problem. The main entrance had to convert visitors who had already decided to come, and earn secondary spend from them. The Yonge Street entrance had to stop people who had not decided anything at all, and give guests who depend on lift access a welcome equal to the main arrival.

What I did

Led the creative strategy and concept development, from market research and site observation to multiple concept options for each entrance, carried through to schematic design.

Two entrances reimagined

three functions combined in the main entrance concepts: attraction information, retail, and an interactive discovery centre

about three months from appointment to issue

These are concept renders, not built work
